Here you can find all our inkjet printer reviews. We aimed these reviews at people looking for their first inkjet printer. While some people will find them a little too basic we have tried to cover all the important information.
By far the major aim is to give you an indication of what the inkjet printers strengths and weaknesses are. What they were designed to do well and what they don't do very well.
It can be a real pit fall to see a printer with amazing photographic results on special paper then get it home a realize that photo printing is all it is good for and results on plain copier paper are not so flash.
Always remember the first step in buying the right printer is to think carefully about your printing requirements. How many prints will you be doing a week? Do you intend to print photos? Do you intent to print mostly text or color documents on plain paper?
With those questions in mind head off to the reviews!
HP DeskJet 5550 Review
The latest in HP's lengthy DeskJet series is the HP DesjJet 5550 - another good printer from HP than is going to attract a lot of fans in the home printer market. The additional 6 color cartridges make it an adequate photo printer, but there are some drawbacks.
Canon I9100 Review
Canon i9100 inkjet printer is a very nice 4,800 X 1,200 dpi six color design. With borderless printing up to A3+ (13" by 19") and great color reproduction there's a lot to like about this inkjet printer.
Canon i850 Review
Canon i850 inkjet printer with a top resolution of 4,800 x 1,200dpi even outclasses (on paper, no pun) professional photo printers such as Epson's A3 Stylus Photo 2100. With such an impressive print engine it's a shame beyond photos this printer seriously stumbles.
Canon i320 Review
Canon i320 inkjet printer is a very cheap and quite cheerful design for low volume home use. I have one of these at home and was surprised by the reasonable print quality and cheap cartridge costs not to mention this printers unbelievable low purchase cost.
Epson C84 Review
At under $100 the Epson Stylus C84 is very good value for money. Usually budget printers are hamstrung by high ink usage or poor performance but the Epson Stylus C84 manages to avoid these possible pit falls delivering a complete and inexpensive package.
Lexmark P707 Review
The Lexmark P707 inkjet printer is a cheap photo printer that can also handle general home use. For those who need a cheap printer for documents and perhaps the odd photo and intend to print low volumes then the Lexmark P707 should be on your list but not at the top.
Canon i950 Review
If your looking for a great photo inkjet printer then you must look at the Canon i950. It gave us a nice surprise with its moderate cost per page and the quality of its office printing, much better than that of the earlier S900. Graphics are bright, color blocks even and all the characters perfectly legible. Its photos are definitely superb.
HP DeskJet 2300 Review
The HP DeskJet 2300 signals a new era in inkjet printing technology. The HP DeskJet 2300 is the triumphant return of inkjet printers into the office environment. HP DeskJet models were last in around the office before the arrival of the color laser printer. They were replaced (by color lasers) even though the initial cost of inkjet technology has always been lower, because an inkjet is far more expensive to run in terms of cost per printed page than a laser printer.
HP DeskJet 6122 Review
The HP DeskJet 6122 is another entry into the HP's DeskJet series designed for the small office, it is a quality inkjet printer, and like all HP DeskJet printers you could install it blind folded it is so easy. It is also a small printer taking up 17.9 inches by 17.3 inches of your desktop. The HP DeskJet is a sturdy printer though with many features that underline that it is not designed for the home market.
HP DeskJet 3820 Review
The HP 3820 DeskJet Printer is the even smaller cousin of the housebound HP DeskJet 5550 printer but luckily the HP 3820 DeskJet Printer, while certainly some sacrifices have been made in reducing it's size at the core of the HP 3820 DeskJet is a good quality printer.
Epson Stylus 2200 Review
The Epson Stylus 2200 photo printer is an inkjet printer designed to service a professional photographer or a keen amateur, who is willing to pay $600. At this price the Epson Stylus 2200 is leaving the realms of inkjet printers and beginning to square up to the cheaper color laser printers. Of course if you are looking for a printer just to print out high quality photographs as wide as 13 inches you could do a lot worse than buying a Epson Stylus 2200 photo printer.
Epson Stylus 1280 Review
Epson Stylus series of inkjet printer have quite literally been a household name in the inkjet printer market for years. Inkjet technology was initially popular in this home market as inkjets offered good text printing and cost a fraction of the then horrendously priced color laser printers.
